"Ribbon Eel" Rhinomuraena quaesita
"Ribbon Eel" Rhinomuraena quaesita
These plushies are 83cm long and are weighted with recycled plastic pellets. They are made of custom printed soft velvet fabric to my own design, sewn and stuffed with polyester stuffing. They have plastic safety eyes.
These plushies will come with a certificate of authenticity, detailling their species, the date they were made and proving that they are an original Palaeoplushie handmade in the UK and designed by Rebecca Groom.
These plushies were sewn by Sarah Groom in a pet-friendly household (so be aware if you have a dog allergy).
As this is a hand made item, it is not intended for children and is designed to be an art piece for adults. As they are stitched by machine, they won't fall apart if handled roughly but have not passed the relevant safety standards to be sold as a child's toy.
Plushie Dimensions: 83cm long
Description: Ribbon Eels Rhinomuraena quaesita are a species of moray eel from the Indo-Pacific ocean. They’re thought to change sex and colour throughout their lifetimes, starting as black juveniles with yellow fins, then becoming bright blue and yellow males, then finally all-yellow females. They can grow up to 130cm long.
