This plush is made of custom printed short velvet fabric designed by Rebecca, sewn and stuffed with polyester stuffing and feature plastic safety eyes.
These plushies will come with a certificate of authenticity, detailling their species, the date they were made and proving that they are an original Palaeoplushie handmade by Rebecca Groom.
As this is a hand made item, it is not intended for children under the age of 14 and is designed to be a collectable art piece for adults. As they are stitched by machine, they won't fall apart if handled roughly but have not passed the relevant safety standards to be sold as a child's toy.

Description: Odontodactylus scyllarus is a species of Mantis Shrimp that can grow up to 18cm in length. It has specialised clubbing appendages that it uses to smash hard-shelled creatures, including other crustaceans. It can accelerate its specialised club-arms faster than a bullet (80 km/h) and have been known to punch their way out of glass aquariums.
